4th Session Liceo Classico La Farina

diciembre 11, 2025

The fourth session of Solvers Next Gen at Liceo Classico La Farina focused on the core element that will accompany the participants until the end of the project: the Green Book, a collection of proposals written by young people for European institutions. This activity, inspired by the project’s commitment to inclusion and active citizenship, transforms students into protagonists capable of analysing their local context, identifying challenges and formulating constructive ideas.

During the first part of the session, we discussed what a Green Book is, why this format is used at European level and how young people can adapt it to express their concerns and aspirations. Students explored the structure of the document – from problem definition to proposed solutions – and learned that their voices matter in shaping the society they want to live in.

The second part focused on how to research. Through guided exercises, students analysed real examples of EU-funded initiatives, identified key stakeholders in their communities and practised transforming observations into concrete proposals. This investigative approach mirrors the project’s methodology, which combines journalistic research, peer-to-peer learning and practical creativity.

By the end of the session, students had a clearer picture of how their contributions would form part of a collective document that they would create together and that will eventually reach the European institutions during the final event in Brussels.
